THE AUTHENTIC POKEY THE PENGUIN THE BOOTLEG POW-WOW-HOW-TO  



Number #1. It is imperative that firstyly you get you a collection of

clippings of Pokey the Penguin and Friends. So make sure it is done that

the Pokey, the Mr Nutty, the Gustavo, the Arctic Circle Candy, the

Skeptopotamus the Bear the Devil the Italian (where local tax-law allow).

This list is of people. People you must have in your collection. And

the Boxing Glove, and the GUN!! Put them se erm I mean people in

apicture which looks like a party going on.



Number #2. And then put them in 500x100 gifs. Jpegs are not allowed.

When you do them in Gimp tell it no, no, no I want no ditheringing. But

before you do that, draw the strip in many millions of thoughsands of

colors. Then make sure to design the text so as it will not smooth. You

can click an option.



Number #3. 



Number 3. Now Pokey says things like "I LIKE ADVENTURES AND STUFF."

Smallchild, a integer-scaled Pokey with a red 8 on its side on her head,

provides questions that Pokey the Penguin (our hero) can answer, deny,

or otherwise rebuff. Gustavo says "*COOKIE!*" in italics I know I heard

him. The Devil pops up ina variety of circumstances and is generally

safe to leave your children with. If you have any. If not, make sure

you leave someone else's children with him.



Number #4. And Mr Nutty likes to drink. Whiskey, usually, which is the

Irish spelling. Scotch Whisky is spelt without an e. And owns Nutty

Industries, which makes things. Italians like to steal Arctic Circle

Candy from Pokey the Penguin, who likes Arctic Circle Candy. It is

alright though.



Number #5. Yellow. I couldn't resist it.



Number #6. The Boxing Glove is used to *BLAT!* people, usually Italians.

But not always. Hardly ever, in fact. The GUN!! is for threatening.

It provides comic relief to draw your own GUN!! and Boxing Glove and

Arctic Circle Candy.



Number #6. Pokey owns the Time Canoe. Subtle modifications allow this.

It is merely a filled thing. In black. Look at it. Draw your own. Then.

Suitably think up something to spark your drawing. A phrase will do.





Exercise #One. Do a white five hundred by one hundred pixels wide I mean

high blank picture. And draw the landscape or Pokey the Penguin first.

Draw the other one. Get some text in twelve point courier italic maybe

bold, maybe underline, maybe strikethrough. Never outline or shadow. It

costs too much.. And now type YOUR PHRASE IN CAPITALS. Put exclamation

marks in. Now outline it all with your one pixel not smoothed pen.

Good? Done that. Okay. Then that is fine.



Exercise #Two. Do a white five hundred by one hundred pixels high blank

picture. And draw the landscape or Pokey the Penguin first. Now make

sure to do the other one of the other one variety. You have done your

first Pokey the Penguin cartoon strip.!! Hooray!



Exercise #Three. Keep doing them forever. Sporadically. Write excellent

things in PHP3 (eventually) and you will be as splendid as THE AUTHORS.



Exercise #four. If you made a mistake you can cross it out in green or

pink. You can try to rub it out, but don't get it right.



Exercise #5. Then once in a while you get guest artists. Like Queen

Anne (but she hasn't done one yet), or Bluebeard the Pirate. Who didn't

do one either. They are usually funny because of the way they didn't

use their collection of people. They just scribbled it and and it looks

funny.



Exercise number # six. Making sure to make sure it goes good. Right.?
